Shardlow & Great Wilne Parish Council have appointed a consultant to oversee producing a Parish Plan which will shape the work of the Parish Council over the next 10 or so years.

The plan is now complete following the collection of data via a household survey, delivered to every house in the parish.

Uptake and completion of the survey was better than anticipated with a 20%+ return rate for information. This has enabled robust analysis of the data collected, and an action plan has now been formulated which sections the actions into short term, mid term and long term plans.

The next phase of the plan will see the creation of a working group to ensure delivery of the actions remains on target throughout, and there is a large emphasis on volunteer contribution to achieve the outlined actions.
